Assistive Technology Advisers in HE in Scotland

A network of Assistive Technology practitioners in Higher Education in Scotland, aimed at supporting the sector and sharing good practice.

Established in 2005, the group consists of Assistive and Adaptive Technology professionals working in the HE sector in Scotland. Responsible for managing and delivering Assistive Technology and Accessibility within all aspects of learning and teaching throughout higher education.

The group is dedicated to the continual improvement of available technology, working closely with national and international organisations and suppliers to push the development and practical application of Assistive Technology, and to the dissemination of knowledge and information to students and members of staff. Members of the group share information and experiences via the mailbase list and hold regular meetings at various locations around the country.
